Colours...

clashed beautifully in the sunlight! This Six spot Burnet moth landed obligingly on the Bell Heather and the Common Darters were almost still as they laid their eggs on the lochan. The male dips her to lay then lifts, then dips again rapidly for some minutes so it is crucial to be ready!
The sun shone and there was no breeze, just delightful.
Plenty of Common Blue butterflies and Common Hawker dragonflies around too.
