Great day for dragons

This is one of  several female Common Hawkers resting after laying, or even dying, on the burn this afternoon. It was a lovely hot day for them.
After swimming, went to paint at a local gardens, but the wind kept blowing the specimens about, so we gave up after a couple of hours and went walking!
