Bray and how the other half live

A day trip to Bray, a Victorian coastal town with all its old charm still intact. A walk through the town, a beach comb, a pub lunch, a sea life centre visit, some rockpooling (finally some rockpools for Sam, they seem to be few and far between compared to the abubdance on Scottish coasts), and then a lovely cliffside walk with seals, porpoises, seabirds and butterflies and bees, along with every nationality under the sun, keeping us in good company on a day so hot it looked and felt like the Riviera. Ice cream. Of course ice cream, as we watched the world go by.

And then a wee detour to see the next coastal town before heading back via the coastal road to Dublin, where the rich and famous must surely live with some amazing houses overlooking the sea surrounded by the prettiest planted gardens and old walls. Then down to Dublin bay, with endless yachts and a Tallship for good measure, all still under the hot teatime sun. Finally back to the apartment before a late supper and a bad zombie movie...as you do.
