Decline into Autumn

Today's cold wet weather arrived as forecasted and suddenly the flowers in the garden seem to sense the coming of autumn and they loose their vibrancy. There are still a few flowers left to bring us a little more color for a few days but, today, this bloom seem to epitomize its arrival.

For yesterdays afternoon walk the dress was short sleeved shirt and sunhat. This afternoon its going to be waterproofs and wellies.
