What are they all for

Tidying up a bit this morning and came across one of the corners of the lounge that is not often ventured into for now known obvious reason.

Need to get this all tidied up but what are they all for. Five plugs in and three out but I do not have eight electrical appliances near to this mess.

This will now be my main priority until I make sure no one else has tapped into my grid covertly.

Not much of a picture but tangled messes like this for some reason get right on my wick. Think I will put a label on each cable telling me what it actually does for future reference.
