Rose Hip

A gippy tummy has curtailed most activities today - other than a couple of short dog walks and regular consumption of toast and tea. No dinner for me tonight.

We had planned to go to see Dunkirk at the cinema this evening - but that can wait.

The photo is of a lovely dark purple hip from a Burnet Rose (I think) which grows along one of our bridleways.

The harvesters I caught in yesterday’s extra were fortunate with their timing as we had very heavy rain from about 6 p.m. It’s going to be a difficult harvest time if the weather doesn’t pick up.
