How Many Seas Must a White Dove Sail?

There was a lad on the news this morning, who claims, exceptionally smugly, that he can remember everything; and he is going to demonstrate this via a documentary next week.

I remember a lot of things, but I don't want someone to make a Television programme about me. Would you want to remember everything? This chap was laying on a bed, and announced "on the 15th December, the first thing I saw was a furry banana". Yes, that level of detail.

I remember things, things that had impact on my life. I remember things that changed my path. I remember things that affected my being. I remember good things, and they are good to remember, because they bring a sense of calm to me. I remember bad things, and I try to forget them, because they create a knott inside that isn't useful or helpful to anyone.

I remember people from the past, that are no longer in my life. I remember times with people who are still in my life. I remember special moments, terrifying moments, frightening moments, sad moment, happy moment, funny moments, laugh out loud moments, and just sit and be quiet moments.

But would I want to remember every detail, of every day? I think if I did, I'd be in a soft room!

(The wind finally let itself be felt around 1 this afternoon, at last the wind festival people were able to play!
