Berries

A not-really-long-enough not-very-long lie in, followed by a morning of cleaning and tidying ready for G and F,  friends from Wakefield, who are staying the night. Lots of festival 'debris' to move out of the spare room!

In the afternoon we walked with them around one of the lakes at Branton, and would have gone further had it not been for the persistent drizzle. Lots of lovely, shiny red Guelder-rose berries - they look as if they should taste delicious, but apparently not! Then MrM drove us up the Ingram Valley for a view of the mist high hills, before heading back to the flat for a meal and a drink or two. Good to see G and F again.
