A rare lie in followed by a visit to Lochter activity centre to scope out Sam's belated birthday party (two and a half years late, bad parents). Trip to NEOS'Meldrum Makers for their last day and caught the end of the band's set, fresh, or should I say rough (but not to the detriment of their playing!) from a two night gig stomper at Ullapool's loopallu festival, as seen here watched by Tess and her chum Daisy. Dave had a nice surprise finding he'd sold a few prints and by all accounts all the Makers did well this year. Can't not mention Dave's spontaneous purchase of a beautifully crafted silver necklace for me, what's he up to, being all flash harry and payday still days away. Thankyou Dave. Coal fire tonight me thinks, there is a seasonal nip in the air.
