Summer's last stand

Up at 5.30 to get an overdue work report done, due to my total lack of organisation. I am my own worst enemy. Nearly but not quite finished in time for the school run to Meldrum followed by a rare morning with just me and Tess, as I had long planned for and protected as we were both off for the local holiday, so it was off to scoff pancakes for breakfast at 9 in Inverurie. Such a lovely blue sky day. Back to finish and submit my rubbish report before heading off to Meldrum to collect the minions again. Back in time for a soul boosting walk round the forest with Sam and Thumper, seeing two red squirrels and a whole lot more bugs, beasties and birds.
