Perching Prettily

Perched prettily on a wild geranium this Common Blue had just woken up after a cool downpour. 

Similar to the Brown Argus which I've not blipped a this year.  There was a small colony of both on the hill it seemed logical to give them their 15 minutes of fame, between showers. Making it back to the car just in time before the next raindrops splattered onto the windscreen, I went back home to discover a fox sussing out the chickens. Although he was unsuccessful, he will return!
