Butterfly and Bellflower

It didn't rain today. The sun appeared now and again. 

Most of the day we spent in the garden, digging potatoes, swinging on the rope swing, looking for wild strawberries, hide-and-seeking. 

I notice that the butterflies are back, all of a sudden. There were peacocks, red admirals and - not so welcome- cabbage whites. 

I chased them for a while - they weren't inclined to pose. This red admiral was the most co-operative.
