In store for the winter
A blissfully warm Indian Summer of a day.
The round straw bales are all stacked up from the harvest fields for winter feed and bedding during the winter months. T had a New Zealander from North Island helping him again for a couple of weeks which really took the strain out of the work. P came last year and it was good to see him again.
N and I continued to work in the garden cutting back the overgrowth. The original garden shape is beginning to emerge again after years of neglect while N was unable to do much heavy work outside.
