The Missing Link

Bit of a dismal day. One highlight was spraining my thumb at football this morning. Another was trying to give the cat his tablet using the technique that the vet demonstrated on Friday. It involves holding the Cat's jaw between thumb and forefinger and then pulling back whilst using the remaining fingers as a fulcrum at the back of the Cat's skull. It is a great technique, but it really requires a functioning thumb. I have slipped back down the evolutionary ladder by losing one opposable thumb. I am halfway between, say, a cat (no OTs) and a human (2 OTs).
