Young Red Deer
Two days in a row when I have seen the sunrise! A bit more like it. I took a landscape shot of the sun rising over local fields but then drove around the local area and spied three young male red deer in this field. I pulled up and tried not to spook them; West Midland deer are a little less tolerant of humans than those often seen on Blipfoto.
I hoped that the rising sun might add some interest to the scene and luckily the deer were still in the field when the sun caught their bodies. Every time I get a shot like this I am thankful for having such a portable camera/lens combination as the Olympus OM-D and 300mm f4 (this time augmented with the 1.4x teleconverter).
