Costa del Northampton

Life's a beach (kind of) for these Northampton children who live about as far from the seaside as it's possible to get in England. In recent years this temporary beach has been erected for a few weeks in the town's Market Square.

Though the children enjoyed some sun this morning, the inevitable grey drizzle soon sent everyone home.
