An unmemorable day

I as due to shadow a walk today as part of the training schedule for a volunteer guided walk leader. I duly arrived in Coniston almost half an hour in advance of the walk start and met up with the walk leaders. 45 minutes later when no one showed up we decided to cal it a day - as an easy grade walk there is no requirement to book in advance and as the weather forecast was not encouraging people obviously chose to do other things. 

I returned home and spent the afternoon making copious notes for the Monk Coniston tree walk I did last month.

The weather deteriorated so I was reduced to taking a snap from the conservatory of some pink flowers. 

Tomorrow I hope will be better!
