Dog Olympic Games 2012 - day 3

Today was an easier day than yesterday. The organization worked a lot better and we only had the final to judge, which was 13 routines. After that the winners were presented with their Dog Olympic Medals and celebrated.

Helle and I had the morning and the afternoon off to go and see some of all the dog sports that we don't have in Denmark. We especially enjoyed all the swimming disciplines, where dog and handler were in the water together. I've never seen that before, but it was obvious that the dogs loved it! They were so excited!

We also loved the Disc Dogs. Both dogs and handlers were amazing athletes and it was a very entertaining sport to watch.

We had dinner at 8 pm and went to the big gala show in the hall at 9 pm. WOW fabulous show! Lots of circus acts mixed with performing dogs. The winners of the Dog Dancing competition were performing their winning routines and the audience loved them.

It was nearly midnight when we came back to the hotel.

So much has been going on today, that it was impossible to blip just one thing, so here is a collage with some of the dog pictures, that I've taken today.

Great day!
Emmy (going home to the Hazyland boys soon)
