Howick Hall

Home of Earl Grey who was famous for his tea.After a visit to Bamburgh Castle this morning we stopped at Hawick Hall for lunch and a walk around the gardens before setting off for home.
Lunch in their beautiful tea room was excellent it was only spoilt by a woman who couldn't stay seated through her own but more importantly my meal.Why do I always end up sat next to the nutter.Gifts are sold in the tea room and displayed around all the walls.She was up and down like a blue arsed fly fetching things back and forth to the table to see if her husband liked them or not.Drove me nuts.Luckily I am very tolerant.

A very wet drive home.Atrocious conditions on the M6 and still so many people with no lights on but even worse were those driving with their hazards on.

Becky and Dale had cooked a nice roast when we got in.

Altogether a very nice weekend.
