Gasterse Duinen

The first full day at Hof van Saksen resort, where we will stay for the next two weeks. It was a bit of a rainy day, but the forecast looked promising towards sunset so I decided to drive to Gasterse Duinen. This is an area with sand dunes and heath. The heath wasn't blooming as much as I hoped, but the beautiful light and skies sure were great! Couldn't really decide so I uploaded two extras as well...

The forecast for tomorrow also looks promising, with lots of sun and clear skies after sunset. I might have another go at photographing the Perseids meteor shower!

For the record: the girls went swimming today and we had dinner at the Al Fresco restaurant at the resort.
