Scenic and not seen it

The morning view from the balcony was incredible. The Alps were so clear.

Today's drive took us around a tiny bit of the beautiful and massive Lake Como.

We walked onto a peninsula, with a fair up and down effort, to catch a glimpse of Villa del Balbianello, which famously featured in Casino Royale and a Star Wars film. It somehow wasn't unexpected to find that we couldn't see a thing without a 10€ entrance fee for the gardens alone. Oh well. An ice cream helped us come to terms with our disappointment. :-)
