Ripening

The apples and tomatoes are both starting to ripen now, should be a good crop of both.  It looked a few weeks ago as if we would not get any tomatoes this year.  That week of really hot weather we had occurred just as the trusses were setting on the plants, they were all shrivelled and dying.  T removed the tops of the plants and left the rest to see if they would revive. As you can see they did, and I can look forward to home grown tomatoes on my salad again.
