Coniston Water

The view from the eastern side of Coniston Water.
It was too nice a day to leave without another drive up into the lakes.

The weekend almost didn't happen. Our hotel called to say that our room had been damaged due to a water leak. They managed to get us into another hotel 15 miles away. Not ideal but what can you do.

All was going to plan, and then this morning the plumbing in our bathroom started to make horrible gurgling noises and started to back-flush water. Beginning to think that some one had it in for us. Still - worth every second for views like this!
