which came first????

I am down in Ashburton today and tomorrow doing my babysitting role. Went walking this afternoon with camera and found this lovely nest of eggs. All lovely and fresh, not the cleanest- pooh and feathers, but still the loveliest eggs to eat. The hens are obviously doing their spring flush of eggs!!!!
