Harbour Seal

Rain last night!!   Hurray!   Our rain barrels are full!    In Seattle too,  (but not much)  ending the 56 day dry streak,  (the record since 1951)…  but not enough, sadly , to douse the wildfires in BC.  
 

The weather looked promising today so we decided to have a row,.  Of course 2 minutes after we left the dock the wind came up and it got rather choppy, even water in the boat, (I had to hang on to the camera) but we managed to deliver a coat left at our house yesterday to the nearby island, and have a look for some seals.   Only 3 out in our bay today and no pups, but I haven’t blipped many at all this summer so this is it for today….the color palette ( and textures ) of rocks, seal and water is pleasing to me,….
