Minimalist Camping

I didn't discover, until I arrived on Menorca, that it is illegal to pitch a tent and camp. However, it is acceptable to sleep on the many beaches so long as no tent is erected. My miniscule tent has thus been used as a groundsheet. So far so good. The only snag is that I purposely left my sleeping bag at home, in favour of a lighter fleece liner, expecting protection from the tent. The temperatures plummet in the middle of the night and it's jolly cold! Each morning I awake drenched by a heavy dew. 

One lives and learns!

This is early morning on the Platja de Cavalleria. Last night the sky was brimming with stars and I was very happy on my ownsome.
