Back Blip from Akaora

My last day in Akaora... and it sure was a beautiful warm morning. I got the last of my roses pruned and my raspberry canes cut back... also lots of weeds pulled out.

It was good to see my Crocuses in flower and also some Tulips.

So sad having to leave .. I had to come back as it was my youngest sons birthday Monday and we were going out for a meal tonight.

I just got over the hill and when the rain started and it followed me all the way home. Just got the car unpacked when It really got wet here in Christchurch... and did rain! Lots of flooding in the city and also in Akaora. The highway to Akaora was closed.. so pleased I made it in time!
