Lake Lugano

Because Lake Lugano is on the border between Italy and Switzerland, we popped 'next door' , as you do - waved across the borders without a look or a check.

The Lake was absolutely beautiful. I can't get enough of swimming in these lakes. The water is so soft and clear, and the temperature is just right and there's no salt to contend with. I just love it.

Somehow, the lake in our local park in North London has absolutley none of the same pull. 

One of the extras was taken from the cafe in a private area, where Ali took root. He has preferred to sit in the shade and order drinks  this week.

This evening, we managed to join in the local festival up here. Our AirBnB hosts had invited us to join them several times, and actually, it was nice getting to know them a little.
