Penistone Hill

Though Penistone hill is high up, from the car park it is possible to do a relatively flat walk so given I am still battling a chest infection this was our choice for my first walk since being under the weather.

The heather is just breathtaking, and as it was quite warm and sunny you could smell it.  Perfect. It is truly spectacular when all you can see is purple. very lucky to live here.
