Top Brink - Lumbutts

A lovely sunny afternoon and me & Mrs MD decided to journey home via Lumbutts - a little hamlet above Todmorden.
This is the area where I grew up - and this pub the 'Top Brink' (known as the Dog & Partridge in my day) was where I served my 'drinking apprenticeship' (starting rather earlier than 18 !!!)
It was much smaller then - just the one room - no food - just beer (Draught Bass I do remember).  It is now a rather nice and very welcoming pub - see extras - doing lovely food and a good selection of beers.
I have my memories :-)   Early 60s
