Southsea
We enjoyed a day at the beach and the park today, nothing too strenuous after yesterday, but lots of play for the children: carousel on the newly restored South Parade Pier, action on the boating lake, bouncy castles and play parks to boot. So for us parents, the majority of the day was taken up with strolling, bag and jumper carrying and plenty of waiting with a sprinkling of swan paddling on the boating lake.
Here is a shot of the pier in fine fettle, with the lifeguards patrolling the beach in the foreground and the Issel of Wiggit (I think that's right) in the background.
Many thanks to those of you who've managed to check in, comment, star to heart my 2,000th blip entry for yesterday. Much appreciated.
