Hanging

Brauneck is a popular mountain for hanggliders and there were loads of them taking to the air yesterday. Caught this guy profiled against Goffert while he was trying to find some wind (or a thermal or whatever they look for!).
Hiking up Brauneck was Plan B; we'd got caught up in a huge holiday traffic jam which put an end to the Plan A hike but it turned out well. I think we (S, me, Veros and Bea) hiked about 5 miles up the mountain before grabbing a well earned lunch and enjoying the panoramas. I didn't enjoy the hike back down so much on steep, gravelly paths but we then headed into Bad Tolz for a wander (not having walked enough obviously) and ended the day in yet another great beergarden. It's definitely habit forming!
