Weather

This weather definitely keeps one on one's toes.  We both squeezed through some narrow dry windows, and the sun just about came out for a fruitful and vegetableful allotment visit on the way home. 

A sugar snap glut - now that is exciting, plus an emerging courgette glut, these delicious blackberries (not sure what they are, some kind of very sweet and relatively spineless domesticated variety), which will need a proper picking session, and as seen in the extras, plenty of nice beetroot. 

The beetroot, as also seen in the extras, have caused some trouble.  We are having to stay up late to watch the promised cartoon because the purple overboiling explosion tripped a switch, which knocked out the the television and its associated boxes.
