The day started with a 2 mile walk before breakfast. Later we drove to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve and walked again. There were very few large birds on the pools but lots of small ones in the wooded areas. The dragonflies were out too and these Common Darters seemed happy to pose for the camera :)

After our packed lunch (I was organised this morning) we met Jane and Jason around the corner at Gait Barrows Nature Reserve and enjoyed a few hours walking and talking. 

Tired tonight and don't think I'll be spending much time on blip. Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's rainbow shot. I'll get round to replies tomorrow.
