Bad Hair Day

I had just filled my car with fuel at the "servo" (we Aussies like to diminish the names of everything), when I saw these bedraggled creamy gum nut flowers on a tree nearby. When I saw them massed together I thought they looked to be quite in disarray from the wind and rain that keeps persisting each day.
