Showing its age

The former  Silverstream Hospital set up for returning wounded soldiers after WW2 is showing it's age now. However, it was taken over about 15 years ago by a property tycoon who is slowly turning the historical  buildings into a major wedding venue with accomodation plus many other halls, and rooms for use by groups of all sizes to hold meetings and seminars etc.
Trev and I flew to Wellington today, were picked up and taken to the Hutt Valley by my brother to be entertained by his family prior to the big event on Thursday. We stayed at the wedding venue two nights. It is close to rail and road and yet very rural and quiet.
