Virgins, Mints and Arachnoids

To celebrate being (very nearly) for my first time as a full-time classroom teacher on Monday, I enjoyed two complimentary virgin mojitos (so delicious and refreshing I remembered it from this time last year), followed by a trip to the OS cinema in MINT Kobe to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming. A very different take on the Spider-Man story, but it really works. This is the best  Spider-Man movie I've seen, because although much of the legend has been changed, the essential element of a boy out of his in a world of adult criminals and also struggling to maintain a regular life as a schoolboy remains at the heart of this film. First class entertainment, and great to see Spider-Man back in the Marvel fold.
