Almost the right colour....

Johnny had been trying all year to persuade Annie to buy matching trainers and share his passion. On a day trip to Hexham, they saw the nearest match in colour, but she was not convinced..........

I spotted this couple earlier in the afternoon, then they just happened to stop when I was going into Boots on the opposite side of the street for Mum's prescription. I could not resist the moment.

We were in Hexham for Mum's ENT appointment for recurrent nose bleeds. Her nose was duly cauterised (again). Then we went to Hexham Abbey to see the Hexham and District Photographic Society annual exhibition. Everyone who submitted them has 2 prints on show. It's an excellent exhibition, so do call in if you are near. (See extra.)

There have been heavy rainshowers on and off today with some walkers suffering.
