This evening we stepped back in time and experienced a world of body snatchers, love, murder and deceit - essentially the story of Burke and Hare of Edinburgh told by actors within the Union Canal's Falkirk Tunnel. Both characters had previously worked on the construction of the canal, which opened in 1822, so there was a tenuous local link! A great setting for scary, up close and personal, theatre.
