Harvest time

A good walk this morning; the longer circular walk out of the village. We picked damsons from a tree we go to every year but is hidden away a little; very nice but still a bit sharp, perhaps needing a week or two to ripen up. The blackberries are still a couple of weeks away from being ready even though I know others only a few miles away have been ripe for weeks. Passing through one field on the walk we spotted this Combine Harvester; the same one I got a ride on last year. I think the lad driving it was having a bit of a break.
