Traveling Roadshow

My friend Eberhard is a very talented craftsman and artist. His latest project is this miniature theater that he takes on the road -- behind a bicycle! This is his response to the widespread darkness and despair in our country. 

The first extra photo is a "backstage" view, with a closeup in the second one. The backdrop is a long painted fabric strip on vertical rollers with crank handles to change scenes. Eberhard moves the characters from above -- screened from the audience. He prefers performing in a darkened room to show off the variable-color LED footlights and stage lighting. 

Eberhard is currently planning a long trip culminating inTaos, New Mexico! I hope I can see a local show before he leaves.Perhaps I should have made a reservation!
