We plough the patch and scatter

Between the showers, my son and I finished preparing this former shrub bed for planting grass seed. Their "new" garden will need a bigger lawn for the children to play on!
I hadn't planned to do any gardening while staying with them, but it was quite enjoyable working together! The children came out from time to time to observe our progress, and their mum encouraged us by making cups of tea!
