Side by side

F and W sat side by side this afternoon busily writing and drawing in their home-made books. F was dressed up, with her old straw hat looking a little worn out!
This morning we went to John Lewis for new school shoes, and a coffee in the restaurant of course. On the way home there was a tremendous thunderstorm with hail, heavy rain and wind! The children asked a lot of questions about why this occurs!
Once home, they played shoe shops!
I had to have my feet measured and my shoes fitted properly by the very expert assistants!!!
