Enlightened

I really love the entrance hall of the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh and can never resist taking yet another photo when I visit.

Today the Precious and I stopped here for morning coffee en route to Charlotte Square for another couple of events at the Book Festival. I enjoyed the first interview very much (with Kaite Walsh and Abir Mukherjee), I will definitely be buying both of their new books! I can't buy too much while I'm here as I only have a carry-on bag for the plane so don't have much space for extra purchases.

Tomorrow is my day off, as I didn't spot anything I particularly wanted to go to in the Festival - it will be a bit of retail therapy for me! Only very small things, of course :)
