Today's new (old) books

I rarely buy new books these days but often acquire preloved ones, such as these which arrived today.

The Owl Service was published in the year of my birth and so we share a significant birthday this year. If I'd known about it as a child I'd have read it decades ago but I only discovered it in recent years via the folk band of the same name (sadly now defunct), a number of whose albums I have in my possession. Anyway, its never too late, as they say. And as a 70s child I have high hopes of Goats and Sheep.

In other news, sadly it's RIP for Ronnie the Corsa, but he did the job, keeping Son2 mobile for the past year (almost) and enabled him to learn to drive.
