BBQ

Not one photo taken today, so this one was sent from Daniel (Son #2 ) when he and Kazz (his partner, in the middle) and Steph, their friend (and chauffeur today) after they arrived home.

It was a lovely, but very tiring day. Up at 7 and there followed a hive of activity cleaning, preparing, packing Girls stuff, stripping bed etc. James (son #1) arrived at midday with dog Lottie in tow. Cue jealous behaviour from Dog! By 3:30 the place was full! It was lovely to see everyone, but neither Mr L or I ate anything as we were so busy pouring drinks, sorting salads and desserts etc. Neighbors, foster carers, life long friends, family all mingled together. Some of them hadn't seen each other for years and were thrilled to meet up again. People started to drift off about 6:30 and by 7:30'all but a couple had departed.

Ex neighbour Jim totally disgraced himself and was ill all over my sitting room carpet. Thank goodness everyone else had already left. I have to confess to leaving the bulk of clearing up to his wife!

I am back blipping as we were so tired after clearing up we went straight to bed!
