Taking shape

1. One of those really great sunny autumny days. I love these.

2. Mick is up on the roof, plugging me in.

3. Mum and Zara arrive and after a ploughmansy kind of lunch we start work. It's such a fantastic thing to see this take shape. The facing, particularly is a piece of really stunning engineering. Each step brings genuine joy.

4. By the time we stop for a chinese meal we've attached the skirt to the bodice. Hanging up, it looks finished. Better than that, it looks beautiful. It's exactly what I hoped it would be.

5. We sit in the twinkly cockpit and listen to Dustin. A rather lovely end to a productive day
