another day at the zoo

I had fun with a fellow photographer "on safari" at our local zoo today. This shot of the zebra was very serendipitous. I had my big lens with me, and the zebras stand very close to the fence so it is impossible to focus at such close range. But I was waiting for my friend to finish up doing something else, so I just stood there trying and suddenly I had focus!
In extras are a picture of our Amur Tiger drip drying after a dip in the pond, and a picture of weird eyed reptile!
