Lazing around

After yesterday's epic football excursion, today was voted by everyone to be a quiet home-based day. So we lounged around in the garden, lounged around in front of the telly and generally didn't do much. The evening saw a stir of activity to get dinner on the table, and Mr B kindly said my risotto was the best yet.

Earlier in the week, tidying up the garden, I'd put all the mostly nibbled sunflower heads on the bird table, which was much appreciated by the local nuthatches who must have been bored with hanging upside down from sunflower heads. That's where this one is photographed.
