Antelope Island

Today we drove to Salt Lake City, stopping on the way at Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake (only some of which is dry salt). We liked this photo with part of the island reflecting in the water.

At the time we were there the temperature was well into the 30s (Celsius) and there was an impressive mirage: no distortion was added to the photo of this in the first extra, it was all due to the heat haze. The second extra shows the spires nof one of the churches in the Mormon's Temple Square in Salt Lake City; I gratefully acknowledge help from John Gravett in suggesting this composition.
